SUSTAINABILITY REPORT PENNY ROMANIA 2020 11/132 The evolution of the number of stores In Romania, the operations of REWE Group include two companies headquartered in Ștefăneștii de Jos: the company which has a retail trade activity - REWE (România) SRL and the company with main activity real estate - REWE Projektentwicklung România SRL. [1] REWE Romania has ended the year 2020 adding 20 new PENNY stores to its network, thus reaching 276 operational stores in Romania. Our goal is to exceed the number of 600 PENNY stores in Romania until 2029. To be able to reach within the set timeframe the growth potential of the network and the expected turnover, we need to implement a sustainable development strategy by expanding in more and more locations. REWE Projektentwicklung România SRL, a limited liability company limited, with headquarters in Ștefăneștii de Jos, Bușteni street, number 7, Ilfov, with a share capital of 637,786,440 lei REWE Projektentwicklung Gmbh (DE) holds 100% of the shares.
