SUSTAINABILITY REPORT PENNY ROMANIA 2020 17/132 Code of conduct Integrity and fairness in business activities and in the interaction with others are fundamental principles stipulated in the Code conduct of REWE Group. These principles also apply to all who carry out activities on behalf of our company. PENNY has adopted REWE Group’s Code of Conduct that governs the behavior of all employees and managers and developed internal procedures and a compliance system that reflects its values, principles and rules of conduct. In Romania, PENNY has aligned itself with the requirements imposed by the group and follows a compliance management system, under the responsibility of the Local Compliance Officer and of the one with administrative autonomy appointed by the group. The Compliance Officer reviews everything related to compliance confidentially, regardless of how the issues were reported. An internal reporting instrument is also available. We measure and manage opportunities as part of our periodic operational and strategic planning. We always listen to our employees who report any incidents of compliance and we investigate any problem through interviews and internal checks. In 2020, no cases of non-compliance were reported.
