We have also invested in the development of several high quality products made through collaborations with local producers from Romania. More than half of food products are of regional origin - 65%, and 86% of suppliers are fromRomania.We did this both for products from the permanent range, as well as for the in-out promotions throughout the year. Thus, 30.16% of turnover came from the private labels in 2020. The quality and long-lasting freshness of the food is ensured by equipping the cabinets with doors, using IFCO crates and an appropriate logistics service, through which the temperature is constantly monitored during transport. In 2020, the degree of delivery services was 97%. At PENNY, we support the construction of sustainable supply chains. This proves tobe the correct decisionbotheconomically and competitively. For our business to thrive, we take into account customers feedback as well as their preferences and needs. Starting with 2020, our loyal customers have the possibility to access the PENNY card in digital format, in the PENNY application. The digital card is easy to use via a mobile phone when shopping. Consumer education is an important component of sustainable development, hence we offer customers transparent information on the origin of the products, nutrition elements and food ingredients. We promote responsible consumption and avoidance of food waste.
