SUSTAINABILITY REPORT PENNY ROMANIA 2020 40/132 1 2 3 4 Materiality analysis The strategic objectives of the new sustainability strategy were selected based on a materiality analysis in the Romanian context, performed at group level during the period 2019- 2020. Analysis of material topics, matrix evaluation and development of materiality went through four essential steps, whichwere internally completed, as well as in close collaboration with the stakeholders. W used the interview method and tools such as questionnaires to consult with the groups of internal and external stakeholders. We wanted to ascertain how important the identified topics were for them as well. Following the consultations and the management evaluation, we created the materiality matrix generated by PENNY activity in terms of material topics and their importance for our stakeholders. Our progress and performance in addressing these material topics will be detailed during this report. Considering the health crisis generated in 2020, we decided to publish in our report all actions that were part of Covid-19 crisis management and the efforts that the organization took.
