All this to offer our customers sustainable products made using a process where workers' rights are respected and promoted, the negative impact on the environment is diminished, and the quality standards are strictly respected. Sustainable supply chain management is an important strategic component in improving our performance as a discounter, which includes continuously working on making each stage more efficient Therefore, we continuetosourceresponsibly through local investments for supplier development, informing them about the specific requirements to the Romanian market and to the group and informing customers about the origins of the products, nutrition and food ingredients. A core element of our mission is to expand the ranges of sustainable products. In order to fulfill this goal, we focus on effective communication with all suppliers. From our point of view, sustainable products are those made with consideration for the environment and the community. These requirements join the firm criteria related to product freshness and quality. Thus, to align with our requirements, PENNY suppliers must hold at least one of the following certifications: During 2020, a large number of our private labels suppliers had the IFS certification. A few committed to enrolling in the program certification, and to implementing all IFS requirements by 2021. Out of our private labels, over 15% of them had an internationally recognized certification in 2020.
