SUSTAINABILITY REPORT PENNY ROMANIA 2020 63/132 Nutrition We care about the well-being of our customers and employees and we take into consideration the value that our products have from a nutritional point of view. We consider this a major step in our efforts to support and promote nutrition-inspired choices among our customers. Special diets In 2020, we sold 62 BIO, lactose-free, sugar-free and gluten-free products in our stores. BIO fresh range In termsof fruit andvegetables,we focusedon listingsuppliers that have theGlobal Gapcertification - a global organization whose main objective is to promote safe agriculture, carried out according to sustainability standards. In 2020, we sold ecologic bananas, as well as BIO tomatoes. The Bio fresh range is present on different varieties of fruit and vegetables, as well as on other categories such as dairy products or cheeses. My BIO range - "Bio products for a healthy life, at an affordable price." The My BIO range aims to make sustainable food easy and accessible, responding in the best possibleway to all our customers who pay attention to health and the environment, both for them and for their loved ones. "My BIO" offers the products necessary for a balanced and healthy nutrition, its portfolio including natural products strictly controlled and without genetic modifications or traces of pesticides. "My BIO" contains locally and internationally developed products. In terms of local development, this is only possible for fresh products (dairy, 10M organic eggs, meat, fruit and vegetables such as broccoli, carrots or onions). The packaging of My BIO products have an organic certification at EU level.
