SUSTAINABILITY REPORT PENNY ROMANIA 2020 80/132 Climate protection Climate change is one of the greatest challenges of our times, and greenhouse gas emissions due to human activity have a significant impact in this regard. Most CO₂ emissions are caused by the production and consumption of products or logistics. PENNY generates greenhouse gases in its own operations, but also in the supply chain, and in order to reduce these quantities, we aim to gradually increase the percentage of green energy purchased. At the same time, we aim to invest significantly in new technologies, use environmentally friendly refrigerants and replace fossil fuels used for heating systems.
