SUSTAINABILITY REPORT PENNY ROMANIA 2020 82/132 Carbon footprint PENNY continues to calculate greenhouse gas emissions in order to monitor and reduce the adverse impact of its operations on the environment. In this regard, at group level, we use the GEMIS tool (Global Emission Model for Integrated Systems), a tool also used by the Austrian Environment Agency. The following data is included: • Electricity (purchased from electricity suppliers and from own production, in kWh); • Heating of spaces (natural gas, central heating or other fuels, in kWh); • Companies and rented vehicles (distances / kilometers or spent fuel, in liters); • Business trips (kilometers with rented cars, plane, train); • Refrigerants (quantity replaced, in kg).
