Wines Compared to other food products, consumers' choice of wine is more complex. Wine is one of the most differentiated products on the food market. The quality of wine is associated with the region of origin and differs greatly depending on the harvest and wine producers. It is well known that one of the key factors in choosing wine is the region of production. In addition, grape variety, price, and brand are important elements in consumers' choice of wine. Although we purchase wines from local or regional suppliers, they are distributed to stores according to customer preferences, without considering the geographical area from which they were purchased. "Hanul Boieresc" is a PENNY private-label that promotes Romanian wine cellars. Tens of thousands of bottles have been delivered to our consumers from the wineries that we have selected from the wines recommended by the Vinul.ro committees since 2020. Beyond the quality communicated, we inform the consumer correctly; we use front labels with the names of the wineries, which helps promote them. The shelf price of wine reflects the quality level and is often correctly optimized. We have noticed an increased interest in local products, locally produced private labels and some organic products. In the wine category, under the Bohemian Inn umbrella, customers can buy organic products.
