Our buildings have an 'excellent' score, which represents over 70% compliance with the requirements of the operational performance standard in terms of sustainability. In 2022, in addition to continuing to expand our network of BREEAM in Use certified buildings, we have turned our attention to other ways of increasing the operating performance of the buildings in our network. Thus, we initiated and signed a contract to conduct a review of the PENNY internal building standard for PENNY stores to bring new buildings in line with the recent energy performance requirements under MC001/2022 – Near Zero Energy Building (NZEB).
