Year after year, regardless of location or concept, the Strategic Conference brings the people of the PENNY team together. Bookster 2022 Bookster is the platform dedicated to reading enthusiasts. All employees have free access to books they can borrow with delivery to their office or home, and to the virtual library, with the cost of the subscription covered by the company. For PENNY "booksters" we also have a Bookster corner, where they can pick up borrowed books and return those already read. 2021 2022 Number of unique Bookster subscribers 326 359 Number of books borrowed 2 964 2 898 Activities in Employee App The "PENNY Team" or "Employee App." is dedicated to all employees of the company in the headquarters, stores and logistics centers. Through this app employees have access to information about the company and its activities. They can also participate in competitions and have access to exclusive features such as: z Employee card in electronic format z Ability to view and create content (photos, videos, podcasts) z Feedback section In 2022 we ran a new user campaign with 39 participants (new users) and 25 prizes awarded. Another in-app action was PENNY Christmas Week, an initiative with 17 participants and 6 prizes awarded. Vegetable growing activity For colleagues who are passionate about vegetable growing, we have set up two greenhouses at the logistic center Ștefăneștii de Jos, where we plant seedlings together. Programme evaluation To ensure the effectiveness and impact of the programmes we run and to be able to improve them from year to year, we always ask for feedback from participants via questionnaires after each event or training.
