All raw data obtained from the stakeholder consultation was analyzed using a specific IT tool that allows quantification of each material topic considering stakeholders’ answers to the questionnaire. Based on the two dimensions of double materiality, we identified the areas where key issues may arise according to the dominant dimension for each. With the annual review of the list of material topics, for the 2022 activities we have identified a new material topic under the Sustainable Assortment pillar: Regionality and local products. This aspect is particularly important both from a strategic point of view for our company, but also in terms of community impact (environmental and social). We applied the following changes to the material topics: z we avoided treating Energy efficiency as a separate aspect, as it is considered an integral subtopic of Climate protection, z we renamed the material topic Nutrition to Promoting healthy nutrition, z we renamed the material topic Environmental Protection to Packaging management, z we renamed the material topic Employees to Employee welfare. In this Sustainability Report, we carried out an analysis based on the double materiality methodology, through which we aimed to quantitatively assess our material topics taking into account: z Financial materiality – relevance to the business – outside-in perspective, for an understanding of the company's development, performance and position z Social and environmental impact of the organization in the community – inside-out perspective, to understand the impact the company generates on the environment and society Of the 18 material topics, each has an economic impact on the company (business relevance dimension) and an impact on the environment and society (community impact dimension), and explanations of the different types of impacts on economic, social and environmental factors are provided in this report for each material aspect in separate chapters.
