One-on-one interviews The one-to-one interviews were repeated this year, with more managers in the sample than those interviewed last year. Their purpose was to assess the relevance to the business (from an outside-in perspective) for each of the 18 material issues identified as relevant. Thus, we wanted to know from our colleagues which topics could influence the business model and the economic performance of the company and what are the related opportunities and risks. The interviews were conducted by our consultants to create impartiality in the collection and interpretation of the data as a result. Identifying new stakeholders Dedicated teams led by the Sustainability Manager review the list of stakeholders to identify potential new categories which are then assessed using a specific tool by scoring their influence on the company and the impact of the company on them. The final score is always evaluated by management considering the potential for high influence and impact. Representatives from these stakeholder groups are invited in public consultations and a part of them are invited to the dialogue in order to be able to channel the efforts to meet the need on both sides. For more information on our stakeholder interaction methods, please see page 43 of the 2020 Sustainability Report. Motivational messages "I'm happy with what you're tackling" "I appreciate everything you intend or are already working on for the environment, employees, animals and more." "You're my favourite in every way." "I wish you success and as many completed projects as possible." "All good, keep going." RESPONSIVENESS Recommendations Because stakeholder engagement is part of our mechanism for addressing performance growth, below we included a selection of the recommendations received this year through the online surveys. The recommendations largely exemplify the importance of the material topics that PENNY is already addressing at both a strategic and operational level. Some of these are new and under revision. The extended list of recommendations will be reviewed internally during Sustainability Committee meetings and those actions that are relevant to us will be integrated into prefeasibility analyses. The recommendations are presented ad-litteram without changes to the content given by the respondent. We thought it appropriate to mark with green the recommendations that are being addressed at operational level initiatives by PENNY, and with yellow those that are ongoing and need more time for visibility and recognition.
