SUSTAINABILITY REPORT PENNY ROMANIA 2020 114/132 The annual sustainability campaign dedicated to employees - second edition From our point of view, sustainability means more than protecting the environment. Sustainability also translates into the wellbeing of our employees and their development. Safety at work, opportunities for professional and personal development and the balance between these two represent the basic principles of our programs. In 2020, in order to support these development directions in our sustainability strategy, we organized a series of workshops with several experts in certain fields of activity. The trainers helped us understand more about sustainability, creativity, nutrition, cooking and reading via the digital platforms available. Sustainability workshop Theworkshop that opened the series of events was dedicated exclusively to the concept of sustainability. And because such an important topic could only be addressed by professionals, we had as a special guest, Mihai Toader-Pasti, Co- Founder andGeneralManagerof EFdeN,anon- governmental organization specialized in sustainability. Mihai tried to turn sustainability into a friendly topic for our employees. Creative recycling workshop We made the transition from theory to practice. Since we had learned in the sustainability workshop how important it is to reduce, recycle and reuse, the next step was to learn how to put this into practice by using our creativity.
