Our priority will remain unchanged - it is important to remain present and take care of the communities, because only together we can contribute to a better world. Investments to support NGOs Casa Lidia Foundation In 2020, we continued to support the Casa Lidia Foundation, offering children in its care food worth 500 euros per month, distributed from PENNY stores in Bucharest and Ilfov. Casa Lidia hosts and helps children and young people find a loving environment in which to grow up. Zi de BINE Association We put smiles on the lips of the little ones when, together with the ZI de BINE Association, we made food donations for the National Institute for the Protection of Mother and Child "Alessandrescu-Rusescu" in Bucharest. We know how important help is, no matter how small. Especially in times when things don't happen the way we want them to. But we know that when we work hand in hand, we can build a more secure future together. Often, a smile on the lips of the least happy is an invaluable gift. Save the Children Romania The little ones are a joy of life, and in order for them to growup beautifully, they need to be sustained. Together with the Save the Children Romania Organization, we donated to the Grigore Alexandrescu Children's Hospital in Bucharest medical equipment worth 35,000 EUR. Moreover, all the people who wanted to thank a doctor for all the efforts made lately participated in the contest "Discover the heroes next to you!", Held onMagic FM, and the most exciting story was awarded with a shopping cart with food and hygiene products, worth 500 EUR. Red Cross In these times, we encounter more and more often challenging situations, where help is more than welcome, it is necessary. Every community has certain needs and it is important that, once identified, we can come with help, support, no matter what it means. Recently,more andmore communities have shown their need for help, and PENNY, together with the Romanian Red Cross, have joined forces and made donations of food and hygiene products in six counties in the country: Suceava, Timiș, Bacău , Galați, Constanța and Brașov. Adi Hădean Association From the beginning of this period, PENNY was close to the people on the front line, and through a partnership with Solidar Social and the Adi Hădean Association, we sent to Matei Balș Hospital, food and products that provided meals to doctors. Every day, the hospital needs 1,200 servings of hot food, at least 5 days a week, as long as this crisis lasts. Our company aims to be with those on the front line.
