Sustainable animal husbandry is, therefore, essential for meeting the nutrition and food safety goals of our society. Animal welfare is a fundamental criterion for our company when establishing the partnerships with the suppliers. That's why we always bring to the attention of consumers the assortments from responsible local brands and farms. HOWWE MANAGE THE IMPACT Standards concerning the animal welfare from meat production farms Our suppliers must submit proof of compliance with and implementation of the highest relevant standards, even from the establishment of partnerships, as this is an important criterion for selecting our collaborators. 100% of meat products sold by us originate from Romania. We carry out internal audits in respect of all suppliers with whichwe collaborate andwemake sure that our internal requirements are complied with, and also that they are IFS certified. Healthy profit comes from healthy animals. Therefore, we always bring to consumers’ attention the assortments originating from local brands and responsible farms. As long ago as 2017, we have made available to our customers five fresh poultry meat products (chicken, duck, and turkey), slowly grown in Romanian farms.
