In 2022, he attended 31.5 hours of internal training. The CEO also regularly attends company-wide training. All 3 members of the board attended the sustainability workshop, and each have chosen 2 strategic projects to implement, contributing through supervising and coordinating the management. Thus, their knowledge and experience in sustainability is put into practice and shared with our employees. Management Individuals with key responsibilities for coordinating the business were designated by the executive management. Both the management and the implementation structures are made up of employees of REWE Romania who have an employment contract registered in Romania. The employees in the management structures are responsible for coordinating, leading, controlling and managing the organization’s resources. On the other hand, the implementation structures are made up of all the other employees of the company, who are not part of the management category, and who carry out their work according to the tasks established by the management. The year 2022 ended with an expanded management structure compared to 2021. The team grew to 476 managers, 9.4% more than the previous year, with 56.5% of those being women and 11 of the 20 departments being led by women. At the same time, 75% of newly opened management positions were filled by internal promotions. Thus, we remain aligned with the principles of diversity, equal opportunities and nondiscrimination. In 2022 we expanded our management structure with two new departments, while the other structures remained in the same format. For more details on our organizational chart and more detailed information on the Sales and Logistics structures, please see page 22 of the 2020 Sustainability Report, in the Corporate Governance and Management section.
