To mitigate the negative environmental effects of fossil fuel vehicle transport, we have implemented facilities that encourage both employees and customers to opt for greener transport options. These include bicycle parking stations, charging points for electric vehicles and an efficient home delivery service. During 2023, we optimized mobility for employees and customers, expanding and improving our home delivery service in partnership with Glovo and Bringo, to offer a wide selection of products in a fast and efficient way. We have expanded the delivery area to many localities and stores, improving access and convenience for our customers. Offering more than 2,500 different products, we have responded effectively to the diverse needs of customers, delivering around 600,000 orders in a short time, between 30 and 120 minutes, demonstrating a remarkable ability to respond quickly to consumer demands. As for our own fleet, in 2023 we had an increase in total energy consumption compared to 2022 while diesel consumption decreased significantly. Also, the consumption of gasoline and electricity has increased considerably. These changes reflect a restructuring of the fleet, with a reduction in the number of diesel vehicles and an increase in petrol vehicles and the maintenance of the number of electric vehicles, while the total distance travelled increased by 6.84%. We carefully monitor and report to the Group's management the evolution of business trips, noting a notable increase of 57.4% in air travel made by employees in 2023 compared to the previous year, while the use of the train was not recorded. At the same time, we managed to reduce by 29.53% the number of kilometers traveled with rented or own cars. Our firm commitment to supporting electric mobility is reinforced by the continuous expansion of the charging station network, reflecting our contribution to environmental protection and the development of sustainable technologies. By the end of 2023, our network of electric vehicle charging stations grew to 65 units, an increase of 12 stations from the 53 we had the previous year, marking a 22.64% growth. This expansion highlights our dedication to climate protection technologies. The distribution of the stations is as follows: 31 from Enel X, 9 from E-on, 11 from PENNY, and 14 from Renovatio. We monitor key indicators to measure the efficiency of the internal fleet, used by colleagues in business trips: Own fleet parameters* 2021 2022 PROGRESS 2023 vs. 2022 Average consumption (kWh / 100 km) 60.55 60.61 + 0.10% Total energy consumption (kWh) 5 937 491 6 349 705 + 6.94% Total diesel consumption (liters) 507 138 410 176 - 19.12% Total gasoline consumption (liters) 114 828 280 754 + 144.50% Total electricity consumption** (kWh) 1 680 4 854 + 188.93% No. of diesel vehicles 223 165 + 26.01% No. of petrol vehicles 100 165 + 65.00% No. of electric vehicles 4 4 + 0% Total distance travelled (km) 9 806 112 10 477 058 + 6.84% Business travel parameters*** Air travel (km/pers.****) 528 277 831 513 + 57.4% Train journeys (km/pers.*****) 1 347 0 - Distance in km traveled by rented car or private car (not the company's fleet) 55 687 15 899 - 29.53% * Data source: OMV Platform.
