When we build new stores or remodel existing stores, we pay close attention to solutions to improve energy efficiency and implement the latest solutions in the field for our store. When choosing the design and location of the building, we prioritize sustainable solutions, such as the use of renewable energy sources and the choice of a location that is easily accessible by public transport or alternative modes of transport, such as bicycles, and provide charging facilities for customers' electric cars. We continue to expand our network of green buildings, all of which are BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Methodology) certified. Thus, in 2023 we completed the certification of 14 buildings that were in the process of certification, and we tried to obtain certifications for another 39 stores. Our buildings have achieved an "excellent" score, which means more than 70% compliance with the requirements of the sustainable operational performance standard.
