Supporting communities through football Partner: Romanian Football Federation Purpose: Supporting healthy communities through sport We continue our partnership with the Romanian Football Federation, through which we aim to promote sport as part of a healthy and sustainable lifestyle. In addition, football is a special sport through its important influence on communities, acting as a powerful unifying factor, reinforcing a sense of common identity and local pride that brings together individuals from all levels of society. The excitement generated by football matches creates opportunities for social gatherings, which strengthen community bonds. Engaging young people in football can teach valuable life skills such as teamwork and discipline, while also providing a healthy channel for energy. On a larger scale, the success of local or national teams can instill a collective spirit among people, and international events such as the World Cup encourage the global exchange of cultures. At its core, football is more than a game; It is a catalyst for social cohesion and community spirit. We are the only food retailer that supports this popular sport nationally for all age groups ("Men's Team A" plus U15-21), all formats (including Futsal) and all gender categories (both women's and men's football). PENNY Points League We support the development of young talents in football through the PENNY Points League. In 2023, in partnership with the Romanian Football Federation, we concluded the first edition of the national campaign PENNY Points League, a unique program in Romania dedicated to football sports clubs for children, juniors and youth from all over the country. A total of 1.62 million lei was donated to 694 football sports clubs for children, juniors, and youth across the country for the purchase of equipment and accessories necessary for the proper development of children's activity. We have encouraged the spirit of the local community through our program. We launched this project out of the desire to get even more involved in supporting Romanian football – we are the main sponsor of the national football team, but at the same time we support the football phenomenon with everything it entails, from the experience of supporters in stadiums, to the development of future generations of great footballers. The PENNY Points League aims to become a long-term program dedicated to all those who want to encourage the football phenomenon in Romania and contribute to the development of the future great footballers in our country.
