I want to be in the 9th grade Partner: World Vision Romania Foundation Purpose: Promoting the development of students in rural areas, and preventing school dropout The "I want to be in the 9th grade" program, developed by World Vision Romania, helps students access various educational programs, thus stimulating their interest in continuing their studies. In 2023 we also continued the partnership dedicated to high school students in rural areas, reaching the seventh year of implementation, through which we aim to reduce inequality of opportunities for students in rural and peri-urban areas. This year we supported 70 students from 4 technological high schools in Dolj, Ialomita, Bacău and Buzau counties by providing school supplies at the beginning of the school year, food packages and educational materials when the winter holidays and Easter holidays. In addition, the fellows participated in personal development and vocational guidance activities, group mentoring sessions and summer camps, and did internships in PENNY stores. z Number of Fellows: 70 z Number of high schools: 4 z Number of counties: 4 z Number of institutional partnerships: 4 z Number of scholarships awarded to students: 630 z Number of packages of school supplies received at the beginning of the school year: 70 z Number of food packages and educational materials received on the winter holidays: 70 z Number of food and educational material packages received on the Easter holidays: 70 z Number of personal development and/ or vocational guidance activities in which the fellows participated: 9 z Number of group mentoring sessions: 6 z Number of scholarship holders participating in the summer camp: 55 z Number of scholars with good academic results, over 7: 70 SUSTAINABILITY STEP BY STEP CORPORATE GOVERNANCE AND BUSINESS SUSTAINABLE ASSORTMENT ENERGY, CLIMATE AND RESOURCES EMPLOYEES AND SOCIETY GRI & SASB INDEX ASSURANCE OF SELECTED NON-FINANCIAL INDICATORS
