Climate change mitigation and adaptation EXPLANATION OF THE IMPACT Climate change generates increasingly visible risks for operational activity, through extreme weather events, temperature variations and instability in supply chains. These effects can negatively influence infrastructure, working conditions and energy efficiency. In this context, mitigation and adaptation actions become essential to protect operational continuity and reduce the carbon footprint. Through measures such as optimizing energy consumption, using efficient technologies and assessing climate risks, we actively contribute to reducing the environmental impact and increasing the resilience of the organization. HOW WE CONTROL THE IMPACT We take responsibility to reduce climate impact through mitigation and adaptation measures integrated into our work. We calculate the carbon footprint for all three application areas (Scope 1, 2 and 3) annually, in order to identify the main sources of emissions and manage them effectively. In parallel, we are adapting infrastructure and operational processes to new climate conditions, including through impact assessments and technical adjustments that support long-term resilience. Through these actions, we actively contribute to protecting the environment and the transition to a low-carbon economy. OUR IMPACT AND PERFORMANCE IN FIGURES In parallel with mitigation measures, we are focusing on adapting infrastructure to new climatic conditions. We have started an impact study on increasing the set external temperature for refrigeration installations, HVAC systems and the building envelope, with the aim of reducing energy consumption and increasing technical resilience to climate variations. We reduced our absolute carbon footprint by 4% compared to 2023 and by 18% compared to the 2019 base year, reflecting our steady progress towards sustainability. • Between 2020 and 2024, we managed to avoid an average of 7 749 tons of CO₂ emissions per year through active measures to improve efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
