Interventions in the operational area The "Employees and Society" pillar is divided into two operational directions, representative of the identified material aspects. We rely on strategic human resource management, adapting to employee needs, providing safe working conditions, personalized training programs and appreciation. We focus on: • Human resources policies and employee benefits • Support for important milestones in employees' lives • Diversity and Equal Opportunities Policy • Opportunities for people over 50 • Education and training programs • Wellbeing program • Health and safety at work In terms of social responsibility, during 2024 we participated in various causes, covering a wide range of areas and needs. However, the most significant investments have been directed towards helping vulnerable groups, education and community development, thus supporting those causes that we consider to be of significant impact in today's society. Education plays a key role in the development of future generations. We believe that young people and their education are an investment in the future of our society. For this reason, we contribute annually to the implementation of educational development projects. We invest both in children's education, through programs dedicated to school education (such as: "Transforming education together"; "Education builds the future"), as well as in the training of young people, through internship programs for those who want to start a career in retail (such as the dual education program according to the German model "School of Arts and Crafts"). We support local communities through health promotion campaigns, support for disadvantaged people and investments in infrastructure. We also encourage employees to get involved in our Social Responsibility campaigns and work to raise awareness of the causes we are involved in. We believe that the success of our business is only possible in a prosperous society, which is why our mission involves an active contribution to the development of the community in which we operate.
