OUR IMPACT AND PERFORMANCE IN FIGURES In the last year, almost 80% of the value of direct sponsorships has gone to long-term partnerships, carried out over a period of more than two consecutive years, reflecting our commitment to the sustainable development of communities. We have invested over 3 million euros in local initiatives, collaborating with over 20 partner NGOs and being present at 11 community events. Through projects such as the PENNY Points League, we have strengthened our active role in supporting social causes and building lasting relationships with civil society actors. Education is the basis of the society in which we operate, which is why we are constantly dedicated to educational programs that support the development of children and adolescents. Promoting education for young people is a fundamental element of our social responsibility strategy and is an essential part of our mission and identity as an organization. Since 2017, we have been actively involved in supporting the dual education system in Romania, offering internships for young people who aspire to a career in the field of commerce. Through this program, we contribute to the early development of professional and personal skills, facilitating the integration of young people into the labor market. We engage in projects that support students by providing scholarships and access to hands-on experiences, with the aim of reducing inequalities and creating equal opportunities for education in the communities where we operate. We collaborate with trusted partners to provide monthly scholarships, internships, and job opportunities. We also continue to collaborate with pre-university education institutions to present young people with the career options available in retail. This initiative aims to support the professional development of qualified young candidates on the labor market, with long-term benefits for both them and our company. We organize events dedicated to high school students, where they can discover career opportunities in PENNY stores. Participants have the opportunity to interact directly with our employees, asking questions about their career path and possibilities for advancement. Within the partnership with the Academy of Economic Studies, we continued to invest in the training of young professionals, offering in 2024 the Scholarship@PENNY internship program for 6 students passionate about our field, supporting them in developing the skills necessary for a career in retail. In the 2023-2024 school year, we collaborated with 29 high schools in 16 counties, providing internship opportunities for 367 students. In the following year, 2024-2025, we expanded the impact of the program, reaching 605 students from 23 partner high schools in 13 counties. Through this initiative, we continue to support the vocational training of young people, providing them with relevant practical experience in the field of retail and strengthening the link with local communities.
