2. SOS Children's Villages Romania – The Caravan of Good Deeds In 2024, we continued to be actively involved in communities in need of support, together with SOS Children's Villages Romania, through the Good Deeds Caravan initiative. This project is part of our commitment to social involvement, with concrete interventions in vulnerable areas in Bucharest, Ilfov, Sibiu, Bacau, Brasov and Teleorman. We enthusiastically joined this initiative that aims to improve the living conditions of children and families in difficulty, giving them access to essential resources and support to stay together. The caravan brings solutions adapted to each community – from access to drinking water and home renovation, to supporting education. In Sibiu, a studio apartment was transformed into a welcoming home for a family with four children, and in Racova commune (Bacău County), classrooms were renovated to create a better environment for learning. We are glad that PENNY volunteers were present and directly involved in the actions in Sibiu and Bacău counties, contributing with energy and dedication. In 2024, the project also included sessions on emotional health for 203 children, as well as training 20 parents to develop parenting skills. And in 2025, we aim to carry on this collaboration, so that good deeds reach where they are most needed. 3. Habitat for Humanity – "Chances for Children" The partnership between PENNY and Habitat for Humanity Romania represents the company's first sponsorship for a social cause, marking the beginning of a long-term collaboration, strategically integrated into the Social involvement pillar, with a focus on supporting vulnerable children. Within this partnership, in 2024, we provided financial and logistical support for two major projects: "Chances for Children", which aims at the rehabilitation and energy efficiency of House 5 within SOS Children's Villages, transforming it into a Resource, Support and Training Center, and "New Homes Berceni", through which four new homes were built for vulnerable families in Berceni commune, with expansion plans for another four homes. PENNY employees were actively involved in volunteering activities on the site, contributing directly to the repair and rehabilitation works, and the event organized on November 13, 2024 was promoted on all social platforms, strengthening the visibility of the partnership. With the support of PENNY, more than 400 children in the care of SOS Children's Villages will benefit from a complete support ecosystem, which provides them with access to decent housing and education, contributing to their formation as responsible and independent adults. This partnership reflects PENNY's commitment to investing in projects that transform lives and give the chance for a better future to those who need it most.
