5. World Vision Romania – "I want to be in the 9th grade" Program We continued the collaboration with World Vision Romania, by supporting the "I want in the 9th grade" program, dedicated to students from rural areas who want to continue their high school studies. In the 2023-2024 school year, we continued to provide financial support for 70 students. They passed the school year with an overall average of 8.52, 12 of them having averages above 9, and one obtaining an average of 10. We awarded 630 monthly scholarships and organized 24 sessions on personal development, vocational guidance, and violence prevention, as well as meditation sessions and individual counseling. The students participated in visits to companies and universities, workshops, summer camps and social responsibility projects. In addition, we offered donations of backpacks equipped with school supplies. The plan for the coming year includes continuing financial support, organizing internships and one-off donations. In the summer of 2024, 44 students participated in a mountain camp organized in 6 series of 4 days, aiming to unite groups through outdoor activities and indoor training focused on communication, emotion management and prevention. Between September and December 2024, as part of the PENNY intervention, 140 students from 10 counties benefited from monthly financial support, tutoring, mentoring, vocational counseling, personalized educational activities and donations consisting of backpacks with school supplies, all in order to support their integration into the "I want in the 9th grade" Program. In December, students benefited from educational activities such as public speaking and vocational counseling, workshops on violence and abuse, practice agreements signed with high schools, as well as Christmas gifts consisting of clothing and footwear.
