Promoting healthy development In 2024, we have strengthened our commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle, especially among young people, through sport, nutrition and education. We believe that harmonious development begins with access to movement, balanced nutrition and inspirational patterns. Through strategic partnerships and dedicated projects, we have actively contributed to the formation of healthier, more informed and more engaged generations. Football has been a central pillar of these initiatives, due to its positive influence on communities. In partnership with the Romanian Football Federation, we have promoted sport as an integral part of a sustainable lifestyle. Football acts as a unifying factor, strengthening the sense of common identity and local pride, providing young people with opportunities for personal and social development. By getting involved in sports activities, they learn essential values such as discipline, teamwork and perseverance. A concrete example is the ANF Children's Football Camp, organized by the National Football Academy in June, at the Mogoșoaia National Football Center. 24 children aged between 10 and 14, from rural areas, benefited from training held by ANF technicians and educational sessions focused on courage, empathy and collaboration. Watching the Romania – Ukraine match at EURO 2024 was an inspirational moment that strengthened their motivation to perform. Also in 2024, we successfully continued the PENNY Points League, a platform dedicated to football clubs for children, juniors and youth. Through this initiative, our customers were able to donate loyalty points to their favorite clubs, directly contributing to supporting the sports activity. The results were remarkable: 1 100 clubs registered 2 600 orders placed 45 000 products delivered 3.37 million points donated Total value of delivered products: 3.3 million lei Healthy eating plays an essential role in sports performance, and we are proud to be the official supplier of fresh produce for all Romanian national football teams. In collaboration with Chef Andrei Voica, the chef of the national team, we ensure the selection of the best ingredients – from fruits and vegetables, fresh meat, dairy products and cheeses – transformed into balanced menus, adapted to the nutritional needs of athletes. In addition to the projects dedicated to football, we were present in the communities through communication and activation activities at sports and cultural events, where we promoted movement and healthy eating. Our mascot, RONNY, was with the national football team at every match, and the SUporteRO campaign strengthened the bond between PENNY and supporters across the country. The "Step Challenge" initiative, developed in partnership with the #walk15 app, continued into 2024, encouraging daily movement through direct benefits for our customers. Those who reach the 20 000-step threshold receive a 20% discount on fruit and vegetables in all PENNY stores. Thus, we support an active lifestyle and a healthy diet, turning steps into better choices for every day. Through all these initiatives, we aim to actively contribute to the physical and emotional development of young people, providing them with access to sport, education and positive role models.
