2024 Sustainability Report

We focus our efforts on increasing the resilience of the business in the face of significant changes at the macro and microeconomic levels. We are committed to approaching business in an ethical way, respecting human rights and adopting fair and transparent business practices. We are committed to maintaining a strong connection with all our stakeholders and have developed policies that guide us towards responsible business development, policies that we have pragmatically integrated into our operations to achieve our strategic objectives. We take on the role of sustainability leaders, using market research to understand changes in consumer perception. Quality of life is influenced by many factors, and we strive to meet the evolving needs of consumers by making our activities more efficient. We identify risks in the market and often convert them into opportunities. To integrate sustainability into our daily activities, the REWE Group has set up an international committee dedicated to this purpose, with designated representatives for each country with specific responsibilities in the field of sustainability. We have also formed a sustainability-focused team at PENNY International, which ensures that the best decisions are made to strengthen our sustainability strategy. Since 2022, this team has been coordinated by the Managing Director of PENNY International, and operates within two international departments: the Purchasing Department, responsible for sustainable products, and the Strategy and Project Management Department, which handles all aspects related to corporate social responsibility.
