The process of preparing the sustainability report remained the same, the coordination of the reporting being carried out by the Sustainability Manager, with the involvement of all departments that provide information and input data for reporting, the report being finally verified and validated by a responsible person from the REWE Group and by the three Administrators of REWE Romania (CEO, CFO, COO). Before completion, the report is rigorously checked to ensure alignment of material topics with business-relevant priorities, transparency in reporting progress on strategic sustainability objectives, and accuracy of reported information. Further, our operational strategy is guided by an effective control of specific processes, with the help of operational indicators, to prevent negative impacts. At the same time, we coordinate our efforts to implement the opportunities identified in the field of sustainability through specific projects. This is supported and coordinated by the Sustainability Steering Committee, which ensures integrated monitoring through our sustainability management system.
