However, there is no distinct performance bonus system for this specific top management structure dedicated to the organization's impact on the economy, the environment and people. The company's administrators do not receive additional bonuses for meeting business objectives. Other members of the PENNY Romania – Management Board have sustainability objectives included in the annual performance evaluation, depending on the projects and operations they manage. The Sustainability Manager, for example, is evaluated based on performance indicators (the degree of project completion, implementation of strategic directions and leadership are evaluated). The same evaluation structure is enjoyed by all department directors who have members operationally assigned to the sustainability operational committees. The MBO (Management by Objectives) system is the basis for granting annual bonuses, by setting clear objectives for each manager. The remuneration process for the company's management structure is carried out in a transparent and independent manner, taking into account both individual performance and labor market trends. The salary increase is proposed by the direct managers and is approved by the executive directors based on a transparent and independent process. Both the annual evaluations and the decisions on salary increases include the objectives set for the fulfillment of the projects, which may also include sustainability projects, if any. More information about fixed and variable remuneration, bonuses and benefits can be found in the chapter "Employees and society", the policy being applied uniformly, regardless of the position.
