Internal education and training programs: z Foreign language courses z Specific trainings according to the need defined by departments z Importance of practice tutors in companies z Project management The topic of sustainability plays a role in the company's education and training programs; as part of courses and projects, all PENNY's new employees get a perspective on general and specific sustainability topics during the onboarding process. Annually, specialised sustainability topics are organised according to the needs. In 2021, 196 specialised training sessions were provided. We have thus developed a series of programs specially designed to support general education and training activities. These include: Internship programs providing university graduates, who studied a wide range of disciplines, interesting positions and several opportunities to launch their career. There are three categories of dedicated programs: z At national level: 2 interns in the Financial and Human Resources Department – after 1 year they have been internally promoted to specialist positions z At international level: we had the first international management intern in Romania z Internship: partnership with the Academy of Economic Studies (Faculty of Business) – provides opportunities to apply theoretical concepts – the first intern student in the sustainability department was employed full-time at the end of the internship PENNY Academy: Leadership programs In 2021, 465 colleagues joined the program and 164 live webinars were held.
