Fresh fruits and vegetables We prioritize the Romanian production, and our goal is that at least 40% of our selection of fruits and vegetables comes from Romanian suppliers during availability months. We select the vegetables and fruits suppliers on the basis of two important criteria: the quantity produced and the assortments preferred by Romanians. Through firm buying promises made at the outset of crops, we ensure the necessary products, and the producers are certain of the buyer. Depending on the season, we have increased the availability period of products of Romanian origin, like white cabbage or parsnip. Moreover, we have developed partnerships with growers from the Republic of Moldova. The supply conditions have been improved by aligning them with the Global Gap standard, and by increasing the laboratory analysis concerning pesticide residues. The results and the added value of these procedures can be noticed from year to year, as the products can be found on shelves for long periods of time. Fixed production plan with selected seeds Technical know-how provided by the seed company Feedback throughout the production Control of the management plan for fertilizers and pesticides     We are directly involved in supporting local producers, even in the technological processes performed by producers, by assisting them in treating the products or even in purchasing seedlings. Also, we make available to our collaborators qualified persons in order to help them to apply the treatments specific to each product.
