HOWWE MANAGE THE IMPACT We offer products necessary for balanced and healthy nutrition through the My BIO range – ”Bioproducts for a healthy life, at an affordable price.” We sell products for special diets such as organic, sugar-free, lactose-free, or gluten-free. These are natural products rigorously controlled and without genetic modifications or traces of pesticides. ”My BIO” contains products developed locally but also internationally. As for local development, this is only possible for fresh products: dairy, 10M organic eggs, meat, vegetables, and fruits such as broccoli, carrots, or onions. The packaging of ”My BIO” products is certified organic. Nutrition IMPACT EXPLANATION The well-being of our customers and employees is a constant concern for us, and we pay particular attention to the role we play in encouraging healthy eating habits. As a strategy for the future, we want our portfolio of private label products to respect the principles of healthy nutrition to an increasing extent. In addition to adapting the assortment, the activities also focus on raising awareness and informing customers about a healthy and balanced diet. OUR IMPACT AND PERFORMANCE IN FIGURES We also considered diet products for our customers for 2021. Our stores sell BIO, lactose-free, sugar-free, and gluten-free products. Within the BIO new range, we collaborate with Global Gap certified suppliers to provide consumers with vegetables, fruits, and dairy products that come from safe farms, made according to sustainability standards. In the year 2021, we marketed organic bananas as well as BIO tomatoes.
