The first sustainable city in Romania We support the initiative of the non-governmental organization EFdeN to build the first sustainable city in Romania, in the form of a prototype built on the campus of the Faculty of Installations Engineering in Bucharest, which wants to be scaled to the level of cities in Romania. The project aims to design and execute 40 points of interest for the harmonious fulfilment of a functional and sustainable urban community. Currently there are 10 points of interest already completed: the two EFdeN 4C and Signature houses, photovoltaic trees, electric car charging stations, electric bicycle and scooter charging station, urban wind turbines, outdoor study areas, urban agriculture and aeroponic system , the sports area where you can play chess, basketball or table tennis. Through this partnership we contribute to the complex process of forming a sustainable society and lay the foundations for the development of inclusive, healthy and resilient cities, where human-cantered urban design and functionality merge with smart technologies and create new opportunities to improve the quality of life for the community.
